Ronnie is the main antagonist of the 1998 dark comedy thriller film The Players Club. Other important friends of the Club include: Breadmaker Ronnie and Judy (who run the local bakery, The Rising Bun) Bill Ding (a local artist) Chef Katie Currant (who runs the local restaurant) Tom, Art, and Lady Day (DJs at the local radio station) Sammy Showers (the local weather forecaster) Donna Worry (a local college professor) Rhyming Rita (a poetry teacher) and Postie Dale (who works at the Poetry Postal Service). A lot of characters appear in the story lines, including Queenie’s best friends: Chicken (a saxophone player who also gardens behind the Club) Hedgehog (a regular night visitor during Spring and Summer) and Shasta (a sheep who enjoys dancing and magic).
